Who We Are

Established in 1982 as Barlon Engineering Group Ltd. (Barlon) operated as an external expert to the energy sector in drilling, completions, well optimization, well design and abandonment for almost 40 years.  Over the past 5 years, the Barlon team has continued to evolve the abandonment and decommissioning arms of the business to provide single source asset retirement solutions.  Staying true to our core value of client value creation, Barlon has evolved from Barlon Engineering Group to Barlon Asset Management (BAM), creating a vehicle for streamlined site closure and management options outside of our E&P clients entities, providing:

  • Immediate liability adjustment
  • Cost savings in the form of G&A reduction
  • Cost certainty including cost overrun responsibility
  • A focused incented approach to site closure

BAM is a new era for Barlon, combining our years of expertise with a dedication and focus to doing things different.
